Saba is a delicious cooked and caramelized reduction of un-aged grape must crafted from handpicked, Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes in Modena, Italy.  It’s a sweet, thick condiment very much like molasses. Amazing! Saba boasts a lovely, complex flavor with notes of honey, fig, and sun-dried raisins. Use it to glaze vegetables, meats, poultry, with cheese plates or as a confectionary condiment for ice cream, yogurt, fruit salad, cakes, pancakes, and more.

Saba is often used as a sugar substitute.
